A website should make the business easier to understand, trust, and choose. That starts with the real offer, the real proof, and a clear next step — before decoration.

Studio craft · Web design & mobile apps

Web design and mobile apps for Ontario businesses.

Senior-built websites with a clear job: explain the business, earn trust, load quickly, and make the next step obvious.

The working standard

Good design survives contact with the real business.

It has to work with real content, real staff, slow phones, search and AI tools, assistive technology, and the changes that arrive six months after launch. We design the operating site, not just the approval screenshot.

What senior means here

Fewer handoffs. Better decisions. A site your team can own.

01

One senior team

The people who scope the work stay accountable through design, build, launch, and handoff. No junior relay and no account-manager telephone game.

02

Built around the business

Structure follows the questions a real buyer asks, the actions the team needs, and the material the business can honestly prove — not a theme demo.

03

Fast and accessible

Performance, responsive behaviour, semantic markup, keyboard use, and readable contrast are build requirements, not a cleanup pass after launch.

04

Yours to run

You receive the site, accounts, assets, and practical handoff. Ongoing support is available when useful; it is not a condition of ownership.

Process and stack

Structure before styling. Proof before polish. Testing before launch.

01

Discover

We get the offer, audience, proof, constraints, and real buying questions into one short brief before screens begin.

02

Structure

We map the pages, search intent, hierarchy, calls to action, content gaps, and measurement plan. The site earns a clear job before it earns decoration.

03

Design and build

Visual design and implementation move together. Depending on the job, that can mean a custom Next.js build, Shopify or WooCommerce commerce, or a manageable CMS — chosen for fit, not fashion.

04

Launch and hand off

We test the actual routes, forms, metadata, structured data, performance, and responsive states, then transfer the working system and show your team how to run it.

What ships

One useful website, considered from both sides of the screen.

01

Clear for people

A plain offer, useful proof, readable hierarchy, and direct calls to action. The page should make the next decision easier, not make visitors decode agency language.

02

Legible to machines

Semantic HTML, descriptive metadata, one clear address for every page, structured data, and clear paths between related pages give search engines and AI systems a clean account of what the business does.

03

Ready to operate

Analytics, forms, redirects, content ownership, and the handoff are part of the build. A good launch leaves fewer mysteries for the team that inherits it.

Selected work

Professional work and craft — not Loaded Concept clients.

A cross-section of agency-side and independent work across public service, travel, construction, manufacturing, and local business. It shows the range of the hands doing the work here; it is not a claim that every organization shown hired Loaded Concept directly.

Pricing posture

A clear scope before a clever pitch.

We price the actual page types, content work, integrations, commerce, migration, and launch risk. You get a written scope and one clear number before work begins. Optional support stays optional.

Ontario service area

Local pages with local context — not copy-and-paste town pages.

The parent offer is the same. Each town page carries distinct local proof, questions, and context for businesses evaluating the work closer to home.

FAQ

The practical questions before a web build.

What does custom web design cost in Ontario?01

It depends on the number of page types, content work, integrations, commerce, and migration risk. We scope those variables, give you one clear proposal before work starts, and separate optional ongoing support. We are a senior custom studio, not the lowest-cost template option.

Will we own the finished website?02

Yes. The agreement identifies the site, approved assets, accounts, and handoff material that transfer to you. We can support and improve it after launch, but continued ownership does not depend on keeping a retainer.

Do you handle accessibility, speed, SEO, and AI search basics?03

They are build foundations. We use semantic markup, responsive layouts, accessible interaction patterns, descriptive metadata, one clear address for every page, structured data, and performance-conscious assets. Search growth can still require ongoing content and authority work; the website should not begin with avoidable technical debt.

Can you work with our existing brand and content?04

Yes. We can work inside an established identity, tighten an uneven one, or identify the smallest brand and content decisions needed before design. We do not force a rebrand when the existing material can do the job.
