The short version
Here is the whole policy in a few lines. The details follow below.
- The personal information we ask you to provide is what you choose to give us — your name and email (and anything you write) — through our contact form, newsletter signup, or booking scheduler.
- We use it for exactly one thing: to reply to you, schedule the call you asked for, or send the newsletter you requested.
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymous, aggregate site-usage and performance measurements. They are not advertising or behavioural-retargeting tools.
- You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your information, or unsubscribe, at any time.
Who we are
Loaded Concept ("we," "us," or "our") is a small web and AI studio based in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information on our website (the "Site").
If you have any question about your privacy, email us at info@loadedconcept.com.
What we collect
We keep data collection to the bare minimum. The personal information we ask you to hand us directly is:
- Contact form — your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you send us.
- Newsletter signup — your name and email address.
- Booking scheduler — your name, email address, selected time, timezone, and any notes you add when booking a fit call or free Missed-Call Audit.
That is the complete list of personal information we ask you to submit. We don't take payments or sell anything on the Site, so we never ask for credit-card or banking details. We don't collect government IDs, and we don't ask for sensitive personal information.
We also don't buy personal information about you from anyone else, and we don't build advertising profiles.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web host may keep standard server logs (for example, IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and to keep the Site running.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand anonymous, aggregate site use and performance. Data points may include the page path, filtered query parameters, referrer, coarse location, browser, operating system, and device type. Speed Insights also records network speed, Web Vitals, and information that helps attribute a performance measurement to the part of a page involved.
Web Analytics is cookieless. Vercel uses a hash derived from the request to count a visitor session, then discards that session after 24 hours. These measurements are not associated with a personal identifier or IP address, and the services do not reconstruct a visitor's session across sites. We use them only to improve this Site, not for advertising or behavioural retargeting.
Cookies
Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or behavioural retargeting. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the Site will still work.
Why we collect it and how we use it
We use information you submit only for the reason you gave it to us:
- Contact form details — to read your message, reply to you, and follow up about whether and how we can help.
- Newsletter details — to send you the occasional email you signed up for (plain-English AI and local-growth notes, now and then).
- Booking details — to schedule the call, send calendar confirmations/reminders, and prepare for the conversation you requested.
- Anonymous analytics and performance measurements — to understand which pages are useful and keep the Site fast, reliable, and relevant.
We will not use your information for any unrelated purpose without asking you first.
Email and your consent
We follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL). We only send commercial email to people who asked for it — for example, newsletter subscribers — or who contacted us directly, and every newsletter includes a clear, one-click unsubscribe.
By submitting the contact form, newsletter signup, or booking scheduler, you consent to us collecting and using the information you choose to submit there for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your choices and rights” below). Anonymous site-use and performance measurement starts automatically when you visit the Site; it does not depend on a form submission or your consent. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Site for that limited measurement. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Terms of Use.
How we share it (the short answer: we don't sell it)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — full stop — and we don't hand it to third parties for their own marketing.
To run the Site, measure site use and performance, send our emails, and schedule calls, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers, including Vercel for hosting, Web Analytics, and Speed Insights, plus our email-delivery provider and booking scheduler such as Cal.com. They process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to us, not for their own marketing.
The only other time we would disclose information is if we are legally required to — for example, to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Where your information is stored
We are based in Ontario, Canada. Our service providers may store or process data on servers located in Canada, the United States, or elsewhere. Where that happens, your information stays protected by this policy and by our agreements with those providers, and it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored. We choose reputable providers and keep what we share with them to the minimum.
How we protect it and how long we keep it
We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to keep your information secure. No method of sending or storing data online is ever 100% secure, but we use reputable providers and sensible safeguards.
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it: contact-form messages for as long as it takes to handle your enquiry and any working relationship that follows, booking details for as long as needed to run and follow up on the call, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe — after which we remove you from the list.
Your choices and rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it if it's wrong or out of date, or
- delete it.
To do any of these, just email info@loadedconcept.com and we'll take care of it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send. If you ever have a privacy concern we can't resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children's privacy
The Site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province. If you believe a minor has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
Where we operate
Loaded Concept operates from Cobourg, Ontario and serves businesses in Ontario, Canada. This Site and this policy are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal privacy laws of Canada that apply there. The Site is intended for a Canadian audience; we don't target or knowingly market to people in the European Union or European Economic Area.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to make that clear.
